The first Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in the Lehigh Valley. He is a graduate of George Washington School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. Dr. Berger completed his orthopedic surgery residency program at the Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, Department of Orthopedic Surgery and a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. His special interests include scoliosis, pediatric fractures, hip dysplasia, club feet, pediatric and adult trauma and limb deformity. He is married and has three children. In his leisure time he enjoys golf, basketball, fitness and gardening.
ScoliScore is a prognostic, saliva- based DNA test for AIS, Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, that helps predict the likelihood of curve progression. It is intended for children ages 9 to 13 diagnosed with mild AIS and is performed in the office with results available in 3-4 weeks.
