Dr. Cooper graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He attended Temple University Medical School and graduated as a member of AOA, the Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was an assistant team physician for UIC athletics. Dr. Cooper then completed the Miami Sports Medicine Fellowship. During his fellowship, Dr. Cooper was the assistant team physician for the Miami Heat basketball team. Dr. Cooper has been the team physician for the Pennsylvania ValleyDawgs and Allentown Ambassadors. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Cooper's interests include bicycling and ice hockey.
